Fashion Design
(Downtown Academy-A three year program-Grades 10-12)
Students gain into the exciting world of fashion design. Students will learn to translate a paper pattern into a finished garment. They will learn how to create patterns by using basic draping and pattern making methods. Students will construct garments of their choice combining their knowledge of patternmaking and draping.

Health Care/Medical Assistant
(Uptwon Academy-A two year program-Grades 11-12)
Students will prepare for a career in medical assistant and more helth aid. Students are taugh about human growth and development,anatomy and physiology of human body, patient care for all ages,administering medication principles of infection, bio-psycho social support,and supervised internships and shadowing.CPR and medical assistant certification will be ttained.

Hopitality Management
(Uptown Academy-A two year program-Grades 11-12)
This program will incorporate travel and tourism with hospitality management. Students will be trained in hospitality management of food, beverage, and loding. They will also learn guest relation,hospitality marketing, safety on the job, restaurant management,and legal ethical responsabilities.

Retail Sale & Marketing
(Downtown Academy- A four year program-Grades 9-12)
Students are taugh specific skill in the area of:cash register operation,grocery clerk task,front-end procedures, floral management,and customer relations.The latest technology and equipment will be used for cahiering and scaning. Through the actual running of the supermarket store, students will learn advertising, inventory,stock rotation,and pricing. They will adquire an understanding of the various departments that encompass a supermarket,including produce,dairy,frozen food,and how these are relate to demographic thrends. They program culminates with the students being in placed in an approved supermarket worksite.

Technology Exploration
(Both Academies-A one year program-Grades 9 or 10)
Students are giving the opportunity to explore four areas of technology. These areas which survey the technology construction, manufacturing, communication and energy industries, are basic technology, CAD, computer repair, and computer networking.

Virtual Enterprise
(Uptown Academy-A two year program- Grades11-12)
Students will prepare for a career in international business. They will be trained in the basics of management, marketing, accounting and human resources. Students will run a virtual international business and correspond with students all over the world.
